Yang Bing's dream game will be realized soon!

After a decade of development, Lost Soul Aside is launching on May 30th! Lost Soul Aside is coming to PS5 and PC. Yang Bing, the game’s director and CEO of Ultizero Games, will finally make his dream come true. A dream that I am excited to play!
Development
Lost Soul Aside's development began as a solo passion project by Yang Bing. Bing started the project in late 2014. Also, Bing was inspired by Final Fantasy which he is a big fan of.
Initially, Lost Soul Aside was intended to be an indie game or AA game. But Sony saw the first trailer of Lost Soul Aside. Sony was so impressed that they decided to support Bing.
The collaboration with Sony began in 2016. Bing formed a team in 2017. This was likely when that team became Ultizero Games.

This was Ultizero’s first attempt at developing a video game. The studio was having difficulty developing Lost Soul Aside as they had many hardships. Thanks to Sony’s support, Bing and his studio were able to make significant progress.
The collaboration between Bing and Sony also deepened. As a result, Lost Soul Aside became part of Sony’s China Hero Project. Now, Lost Soul Aside was being developed as an AAA game thanks to Sony’s immense support.
Combat
Stylish Combat
As we have seen from various trailers, Lost Soul Aside’s combat is reminiscent of Final Fantasy 15 and Devil May Cry. The game has fast, fluid combat that focuses on style and variation. Thanks to Kaser and Arena’s shared powers, you can find your style of combat.
Kaser, the game’s protagonist, is added by the mysterious dragon-like being known as Arena. Arena is a shapeshifter who transforms into different weapons for Kaser. The shapeshifting dragon can also become different elements of Kaser to use.
Thanks to Arena, Kaser can attack enemies with a sword. He can hit them from a long distance. Or he can attack with high-speed movements.

Customization
There will be a lot of depth for players who love to experiment. Yang Bing says that we can customize load-outs, chain synergistic combos, and strategize with Arena. Arena’s abilities can turn the tide of battle as he can turn tough battles in your favor. As long as you can use them wisely.
Cinematic Combat
Lost Soul Aside will also have cinematics with its stylish combat. The game will have set pieces with some exciting yet challenging bosses. One thing that Yang Bing is proud of.
These bosses will challenge us to juggle air dodges, perfectly timed counters, and relentless strikes. And there will be cinematics and visuals that will make you feel like a part of your own epic action movie.
The Story
Lost Soul Aside’s story is about Kaser’s journey of redemption and discovery. He will unveil the truth about Arena and their shared power. The story will also have a mix of personal challenges and high-stakes combat.
The story will be about creating memories and connections. While there will be some surprises in the story. Lastly, there will be plenty of drama that will make have some gasp-worthy moments.
We do know that Kaser is on a quest to save his sister and soul. Also, there is a church organization that is after Kaser. Then, there is Arena. What happens when he finally takes control of the situation?

The Wait Is Almost Over
After a decade of waiting, we will finally be playing Lost Soul Aside on May 30th. I can’t wait to play this game. This game has been on my radar since the first reveal trailer.
Lost Soul Aside has a lot of influences from Final Fantasy XV. But I can’t help to notice that it has some inspiration from FF Versus XIII. I see it because of all of the inspirations from both games.
Regardless, I am excited that this game is finally coming out. And it’s a hack-and-slash RPG with some influences from Devil May Cry. The wait is almost over! I’ll be there on Day 1!
