New Female Hrothgar race, Solution 9, and Xbox Beta Test announced as well.
Pictomancer
Another new job class was revealed during FFXIV's Fan Festival in Tokyo. The new job class is called Pictomancer. Pictomancer is a magical DPS job class. These vibrant mages uses their paintbrush to create colorful, powerful images. And they attack enemies with these powerful artistic visions.
Pictomancer is not an entirely new job class. Relm, a party member from Final Fantasy VI, uses a similar sort of magic as her speciality. In Relm's case, the young girl brought her sketches to life in battle. In Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, the similar job class appear.
Where this job class differs is that FFXIV's pictomancer can animate the weapons, the environments, and other things. Yoshi-P says that a pictomancer is a not a full support job class. And it is not as attack focused like a Black Mage class.
Pictomancer is available from level 80. Once players reach Gridania in Dawntrail, the pictomancer will be unlockable immediately. The requirements will be the same as unlocking the Viper class.
New Race Female Hrothgar
In the full trailer of Dawntrail, a new race was revealed. The newest race is the female Hrothgar. Female Hrothgar are a rarity unlike their male counterparts. However, they are know for lithe, muscular forms. Equally, Hrothgars are known for their prepositions as leaders.

Currently, Yoshi P explained that Female Hrothgar will be the last race added to the game. Although, there will still be possibility to added other races to the game.
New Town: Solution Nine
We also got a glimpse of a new town city called Solution Nine. Solution Nine is described as " a city of towering facades constructed by an entirely different civilization than of Tuliyollal." This advanced technological city is a stark contrast to the tone and environment from what has been shown from Tuliyollal.
Leave it to Final Fantasy to mixed fantasy and technology in some way. How Solution Nine will play into the story is any one's guess. Also I wonder why Solution Nine was chosen as this town's name. Solution Nine was the name of Zidane's limit breaks in FF9.
Whether this is throwback to that or something is up to speculation currently.
Lastly, an open beta test for Xbox Series version is planned for Final Fantasy XIV. The test is set for February. I will cover more details on Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail in more articles.
