The game will have a female protagonist for the first time.
Thanks to a social media leak, Rockstar Games decided to release the first trailer early. The much-anticipated mainline Grand Theft Auto game will be coming in out 2025. And will be coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series console.
Visually, GTA VI leaps and bounds ahead of its predecessors. The game is beautiful. And I how love they use Tom Petty's "Love is a Long Road"for the theme song of this trailer.
For the first time in the franchise's history, GTA VI will have a female protagonist. Her name is Lucia. Lucia's story will take in Vice City. Currently, all we know is that the story will revolve between Lucia and her lover. I'm betting the story of this game will be about love and crime similar to Bonnie and Clyde.

I got to say I am digging the fact that GTA VI will have female protagonist. Rumors have circulating for years about a female star. But I am certainly ecstatic that this now confirms it. And look forward to more info about the game.
One thing that intrigues me with this game is social media. In the trailer, we see social videos of people doing the usual social media stuff. GTA has always been a parody of American culture. So it will be interesting to see how they use social media in the game.
Despite the first GTA IV trailer being released early due to a leaker, I am impressed and intrigued with the game. It's a beautiful next gen GTA. Plus, I invested on how they will use social media. Most importantly, how will Lucia's story play in GTA VI?
