At the end of Nintendo Direct for Pokemon's Day, a teaser trailer of the newest entry Pokemon Legends series was announced. Pokemon Legends Z – A was revealed.
Pokemon Legends Z-A will take place in Lumiose City. Curiously, Lumiose City will undergoing an urban redevelopment. The hi-tech tone of the teaser hints that the time period of Pokemon Legends Z-A will take in a modern setting. Or it could be in a futuristic setting.
Mega Evolution will be returning as well. The symbol for Mega Evolution appears at the end of the teaser. The symbol’s appearance heavily suggests that Mega Evolution is coming back.
Of course, this is all speculation. As there was no gameplay or visuals shown. Nonetheless, it is exciting that the Pokemon Company and Nintendo haven’t closed the door on the Legends series.
Reaction
I am stoked that Pokemon Legends is continuing. Honestly, I am more excited about this game than I was for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. I ended up getting Pokemon Violet and it was fun. But, Legends Arceus left a bigger impression on me.
Scarlet and Violet did a lot of good things for the Pokemon franchise. But, I don't feel like they pushed these games far enough. Legends Arceus was a breath of air. It's action gameplay, the story, the freedom, the world and the side missions were a major step up from the traditional Pokemon games.
I glad that the game isn't coming out until 2025. This gives Game Freak more time to develop the game. Hopefully, we can get a Pokemon game that will have better graphics. More importantly, I hope Legends Z-A has a much better performance than Scarlet and Violet.
The performance was the biggest issue with Scarlet and Violet. And I have never seen such ugly flora and fauna in several areas. It was a shame. Because Scarlet and Violet are fun games. And a better performance and graphics would have made these games the best Pokemon games in forever.
But, we are now returning to Kalos. Generation 6 this was my favorite one of all the newer Pokemon games. And Legends is continuing. I don't know about you but I am happy excited for this upcoming Legends Game.
