Finally, Stellar Blade is coming to PS5 on April 26th. For those of you who don’t know Stellar Blade is a joint AAA game being developed by Korean developer, Shift Up and Sony. Sony is the publisher for Stellar Blade. Prior to its official title, Stellar Blade was previously known as Project Eve.
The release date was revealed during the Stellar Blade’s extended game play trailer. The trailer highlighted Stellar Blade’s story, characters, gameplay, and the world. The protagonist is Eve, a powerful warrior from an off-world colony. Eve’s mission is to destroy the Naytibas. A race of grotesque monsters who are responsible for the ruined state of the world.

The story of Eve’s journey
Stellar Blade follows the journey of Eve, a warrior who descends from an off-world Colony to defeat the Naytibas, humanity’s enemy that suddenly emerged on Earth. The Naytibas appear to be attacking the human race at the will of a higher entity composed of Alpha and an Elder, but no one really knows about their origin.
The protagonist, Eve, finds herself in a devastated world where she meets Adam, a survivor left on Earth, and Lily, a member of a previous airborne squad. Together they join forces in battle against the Naytibas. Along the way, Eve’s party works with the surviving citizens gathered in the last human city, Xion.
The World of Stellar Blade
Xion is connected to a semi-open world region called the Wasteland and the Great Desert, which harbor many secrets. You get to cross paths with many different people and go on adventures in these vast fields to fulfill Eve’s goals while also helping the citizens of Xion. One of the missions involves gathering Hyper Cells, which are a massive source of energy sustaining Xion. These cells lie dormant throughout the fields, and Eve retrieves these Hyper Cells to turn Xion back to its original glory. This leads her to meet more characters along the way.
Throughout her adventures, you will pick up items like Exospines or Gears as well as acquire SP EXP which unlocks powerful skills. You can also acquire various cosmetics, such as costumes, accessories, and hairstyles.
Players will hear a wide of variety of music while exploring in Stellar Blade. From relaxing tunes at the camp to music that captures the poignancy of a ruined city. Almost all the songs have choruses and vocals, which will immerse you into the world of Stellar Blade.

I am ecstatic that Stellar Blade is coming out on April 26th, 2024. Like many other gamers, I have been waiting for this game. Initially, I thought this game was going to release later in the year. But April is a great month for the game to come out.
It is in the second quarter of the year because the first quarter of the year was top heavy. I have some breathing room to play Persona 3 Reload, Granblue Fantasy and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. And it is likely that I will spending a lot of time on P3R and FFVII: Rebirth.
Stellar Blade looks absolutely stunning. And the gameplay looks polished. The gameplay appears to be a cross between Nier and Devil May Cry. Two action-oriented games which I have a great fondness for.
The world of Stellar Blade is a semi open world game. And Eve’s identity as the angel will be intriguing as her status will affect her interactions with the citizens of Xion. And will be interesting how Eve relationship with the people of Xion will develop. As she completes side missions for these citizens of the last city.
Lastly, I am loving the fact that you can customize Eve to your liking with different hairstyles and outfits. And you chill during camps while listening to a variety of music. I am a lover of gaming music. So, it is promising to hear that there is an option to listen to the OST of Stellar Blade.
I am beyond excited to get my hands on Stellar Blade. I will be purchasing the deluxe version of the game. This is a first for me. In the past, I have never got a deluxe version of a new IP. Stellar Blade will be the exception.
